Community Grief Support Groups Offered: August - December 2014

Grief continues well after loss occurs and each individual experiences it in unique ways. It is not uncommon for grief to come in intense waves, especially within the first year. Many find it helpful to talk with others going through similar experiences. To support you during this time, Home Health United is offering a number of support groups to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss. The groups are offered at no cost to participants.

The "Spouse/Partner Loss" group takes place on Mondays, October 6 - November 3, from 5-7pm at Richland Hospital (333 East Second Street, Richland Center). This series is for adults grieving the loss of a spouse or partner and explores the unique issues specific to this type of loss. Pre-registration is required, and a minimum number must be registered for the group to take place.

"Grief Through the Holidays" takes place on Monday, November 10, from 5-7pm at Richland Hospital (333 East Second Street, Richland Center). This group focuses on dealing with grief during the holiday season. It is intended for adults and no registration is required.
